Not really much I can do to hide spoilers but, well... spoilers. Don't read and do skip the summary if you have yet to see Jurassic World Dominion.
Rexy was put on her last legs. The giga, cloned from the same creature that had killed her original millions of years ago, once more ready to put her in the ground. She could barely see. Hardly breath. And she couldn't move.
Luckily enough, she wasn't the only rex Biosyn had brought to their sanctuary. And her siblings wouldn't let her die so easily.

Directly after the events of the Galaxy movie. Rosalina warns Peach that the reveal of their familial bond will bring untold dangers and it isn’t long before strangers with ill intentions begin to appear in the kingdom. Mario struggles as he is desperate to keep the princess safe, while also battling the insecurity of knowing his affection for her is unworthy.

Only when Po held the completed order in his paw did he realize the hand in front of him was not an open palm demanding food. It was a long claw of a digit, pointed directly at him.
Po’s mind was entirely quiet as he took in the kung fu legend and his shaking yet unerring digit. Or—no, that wasn’t his mind. It was the crowd, struck silent some time ago.
The bowl in Po’s hand was steaming hot, fresh from the noodle cart.
…There was only one thing Po was supposed to do with fresh bowls of noodles on the job.
“Here you go, sir.” Po croak-whispered. “Enjoy.”
“Thank you,” Oogway smiled, humor and kindness shining in his eyes. The ancient turtle swapped the bowl to his other hand and continued pointing at Po.
Po blinked at the turtle, uncomprehending. “Do you… want another one?”
“No, friend,” Oogway chuckled warmly. He took a sip, smacking his mouth thoughtfully. “Actually, yes. But later, I think.”
Oogway’s staff caught Po’s extended hand and lifted it high.
“The Universe has brought us the Dragon Warrior!”
OR
Po makes it to the Dragon Warrior Tournament. Early. With the noodle cart.

Summary
Surviving in the wilderness really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
After being gone for a year, John Dory returns to the Troll Tree to find it completely empty. Save for one troll: His baby brother, Branch. Thinking the trolls and the rest of his family dead, he sets off once again to the Neverglade Trail, this time, with his baby brother in tow. Fueled by fear, guilt, and voices from the past he just can't seem to escape, he wonders if he made the right decision.
But he promised his brother he would never leave him again. So he wouldn't.
Besides, he was never known for his great decisions anyways.
(Based on the song "Great Decisions" by Judah & the Lion)

Or... I needed to write more John Dory and Branch ANGST, so here's my rewrite of canon, where John Dory goes back and raises Branch out in the wilderness, and other subsequent shenanigans. Let's see how this goes, shall we?
