    The Maesters talk of winds from Valyria blowing over, the hot ash from the still raging fires imprisoned in the downpour and clouds, an anger of a dead civilisation carrying rot in the rain. Alerie Targaryen is born in this strange summer storm. She dreams of another as a child. One where a man with no nose kills her in a forest, where she dies alone surrounded by ghosts.

    It doesn't make much sense to the young Targaryen Princess, but she thinks it might if she could find the right twig.

    Or; There's a reason why rumours spread of some Hightowers having dabbled in alchemy and necromancy.

    Princess Daenerys Targaryen was, according to many, unlike most Targaryen princesses of the past. Her fire didn’t burn hot, yet no one would dare compare her to her brother, King Viserys, either. She was simply different—some would even say too different.
    Her family, however, would scoff at such claims. People were fools if they couldn’t see the fire burning slowly within her.

    But in another life, Daenerys was Henrietta Potter, and in this new life, she had hoped for peace—to make a small difference in a cruel world. Instead, she watched her family torn apart, saw a brother who shouldn't be king crowned, and another whose recklessness threatened to turn her already pale hair even whiter. Still, she loved them, though not as much as she loved her little niece, Rhaenyra.
    So when green flames threaten her family, when tragedy strikes, Daenerys will finally let the dragon inside her rise.

    Harry Potter expected many things after the war.
    Becoming a witch was not one of them.
