Summary
Andrew and his lifelong friend Erica were massively excited for the release of the cutting edge full immersion headset, the 'WIZARD'. When they are gifted a pair of the headsets and its launch title 'Champions Requiem: Obsessions of the Watching Night Sky' as rewards for finishing final exams for the year, they make plans to dive in on launch day.
But when they both fail to read the pop-up before joining their chosen server they find themselves in for more than they bargained for. As no one is allowed to log out for potentially another month, it looks like Erica might be unable to attend the graduation ceremony she's been working towards for the last six years. Refusing to give up they gather a party and aim to fight their way through the game and earn their freedom before its too late.
All the while Andrew must grapple with something he's been bottling up for years, as the game pushes him to question parts of himself he's been taught never to doubt. He will come to see his best friend in an entirely new light as she supports him through these changes as he tries to figure out if 'him' is even the right word.

Summary
Ruby Thiccbottom was having a shitty day even BEFORE the quest notification popped up. As a 4'9" warrior with a stat build that somehow prioritized both "Critical Hit Chance" and "Distracting Body Proportions," Ruby's adventuring career had been a rollercoaster of badass monster slaying interrupted by constant boob-related combat mishaps. Her guild nickname "The Shortstack Slayer" was both a testament to her kill count AND a crude reference to how her ass cheeks clapped loud enough to alert monsters in adjacent dungeons.
But when her entire party got TPK'd by a Dragon Turtle she SPECIFICALLY warned them not to aggro, Ruby found herself broke and desperate enough to accept a suspiciously high-paying "entertainment" quest from the local Adventurer's Guild. One million gold for a single night's work? What could possibly go wrong?
Turns out, ABSOLUTELY FUCKING EVERYTHING.
