    Summary

In which Spencer sends his daughter to his former mentor rather than Alyssa, hoping Miranda can take care of her while mistakenly assuming she's found a way to bring back Eva already. Miranda has not. So now she's got a random human toddler who's very resistant to viruses and diseases running around her lab trying to pick up scalpels. Chaos ensues as she tries to make sure the blatant favouritism she is showing to Grace doesn't cause a rift among the lords, or worse, become a weakness that her enemies might attempt to exploit.

She would have a much easier time with that if her child was not constantly swooning over Alcina's oldest daughter whenever they were in the same room.

(This fic will be updated a couple times a week, as much as I loved doing the daily updates of Viticulture ya girl needs to pace herself a bit better, especially with all the other ones I'm working on.)

    Summary

She was a Half-Demon, created to destroy the darkness she carried, but her control was slipping. The demon blood she had spent years suppressing surged within her, fierce and untamed, threatening to expose her as the very creature the academy existed to hunt. Rumi’s violent outbursts grew more brutal with every passing week, her sanity fraying faster than she could conceal it.

Her only hope of stopping the corruption was to find a pure-blood demon with the rare, devastating power to bind her core before it consumed her completely.

Jinu was a Demon of immense power, hidden behind the flawless disguise of a charismatic, efficient human hunter. His true nature was everything Rumi despised, and she became the greatest threat to his secret. Forced to hunt side by side, their rivalry sharpened into something volatile, every mission laced with tension, defiance, and the pull they both refused to name.

When Rumi discovered what he truly was, hatred gave way to desperate resolve. With madness closing in, she went to her enemy with a plea that could destroy them both: save her.

    Summary

“I had nowhere else to go,” Rumi said, barely holding herself up under the storm.

Jinu blinked as he looked at her standing in front of him, as if he couldn’t believe his eyes. As if she were an illusion that could vanish into the rain at any moment. His eyes swept over her with such intensity that he was sure she could feel his gaze like a physical touch. And then he saw the blood.

Before his brain could process it all, she seemed to let go of the last thread of will keeping her upright, and collapsed. And again, without thinking, he caught her in his arms as if it were the most natural thing in the world. As if she belonged there. As if they weren’t sworn enemies who had tried to kill each other.

In the end, Jinu knew something was irrevocably wrong in his head, and the ultimate proof was how he carried the body of that hunter as if she meant something to him, and took her into his apartment, even though he knew that if anyone found out, he would’ve been better off born dead.
