Summary
In a war-torn frontier, the IMC and the Militia are at each other's throats. They both envision the world differently and are willing to die to bring about that world.
An IMC pilot, graduated top of her class on Grid Iron, is faced with the brutal reality of the IMC when on a mission to investigate a supposed Militia base on Troy, a planet previously believed to be uninhabited. From there onwards, she will have her morals challenged, her grief measured, and most of all her loyalties questioned.

Daryl Dixon scares the hell out of you climbing out of that damn creek. It takes hauling his ass halfway across Georgia and taking a bullet for him to realise that you're not half bad. He slowly starts to come around, despite grumbling about how much he doesn't like your singing, or that you can't use a gun for shit - and don't get him started on that ugly yellow tent of yours. It takes him a while before he starts to see for himself that he's found a best friend for life, and that he doesn't actually mind the colour yellow that much, after all.

His smile is all smug, betrayed by the pink blotching his cheeks and the tips of his ears. He leans with his forearm against the wall above your head, looking down at you.
“Of course it did,” he says. “Have you seen yourself when you fly?”
