Has potential
I know it’s a world building but it’s a very dry read, considering Hermione has spent 80% of her life trying to get to Ned, and then basically ignores him and goes about setting up technological advancements lol. She seems like a robot, really. Hope when the author polishes it, they put more substance because right now it’s almost as bad as reading a text book.

Stopped at ch17.
Came back and I’m really disappointed in how it turned out. I thought the first few chapters were lacking detail but were just that way to get to the main story, but unfortunately the whole story is the same way. Hardly any inner thoughts, author makes zero effort to have characters connect naturally (it feels very forced), and there is a glaring lack of details. Plus it’s verrrrryyy Mary Sue: Harry never missteps and everyone just loves the darling MC who is powerful, smart, beautiful and kind goes around helping strangers with their scars at the cost of potentially being found out but of course that would never happy, because it’s all perfect in this story. The Hedwig thing just feels like the author had a brainwave halfway through the story and decided to add all these random things in and this is the results.

(HIATUS)
“You know I’ve been sitting with the council more often since Father passed,” he said. “There’s been talk that I should remarry.”
His mother’s hand paused over her tea. “So soon?”
“They think heirs can’t wait,” Valarr said. “The matter came up again at the last meetings. Several names were discussed.” His eyes flicked toward Naerys. “Naery’s was the one most in favor.”
The room fell quiet. Lady Aelinor looked from him to her daughter. “The council?” she said slowly. “They suggested Naerys?”
“Yes.”
Naerys folded her hands neatly in her lap. Her voice, when it came, was even. “If the council believes it proper, and His Grace agrees, then I’ll do my duty. If my cousin thinks me suitable, who am I to refuse?”
Color rose in Lady Aelinor’s cheeks. “That’s sudden news,” she admitted.
His mother drew a calm breath. “If both of you are willing, then there’s little left for parents to say. It keeps the line strong indeed. Baelor would have seen the reason in it.”
Or:
This is the story of a king and queen growing into their crowns together, navigating expectation, and legacy—and building, along the way, a bond they both wished for from the start.

Summary
Since before she could remember, Elaerea Targaryen knew her future. She would wed her cousin, have his sons, and rule by his side as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
-X-
The Targaryens have been ruling the Seven Kingdoms for two hundred years. King Daeron the Good has prevailed over the Blackfyres, and the realm enjoys times of peace and plenty once again.
The family, too, has enjoyed peace and plenty. Too much, in King Daeron's view. Too many dragons are just as dangerous as too few, as he is wont to say. He has betrothed Prince Valarr Targaryen, heir of his heir, to his cousin Princess Elaerea Targaryen, daughter of his third son.
