Kung Lao grabbed his shoulder again, much tighter this time, and pushed Kenshi back into his seat. Kenshi grunted at the force and began raising a hand to retaliate, but Kung Lao smacked it away as though he were a child.

Raiden has enough of all the bickering and fighting Johnny and Kenshi do everyday—beyond done with them—so he certainly does not feel an ounce of sympathy as he shouts at the two.
“Come on! Anyone can see that you two have some tension building up for a while now. So are you going to do something about it and kiss or what?”

“Raiden?” Kung Lao sounds hopeful.
"Hah. Unfortunately not.”
Kenshi furrows his brows, confused. “What do you mean ‘unfortunately not?’”
“Calm down, Scarecrow, I still love you most of all.” Johnny chuckles. “I just think he would have been more pleasant than Shang Tsung.”
The one where Shang Tsung's magic ruins a perfectly good weekend. In his defense, it is an accident.
