Part of why she didn't ask him for much was knowing that certain foods were more popular than others. Humans were animals, and in times of chaos and fear, they were partial to impulse. Many were far more likely to grab comforting, popular foods, snacks in bags and cases of drinks, than things that could potentially last months or years but wouldn't taste as good.
But she'd had a craving, she'd said. Not a big deal, she'd said. But if he happened to find them while he was out there, well. She wouldn't mind having a big old bag of unopened Ray's barbecue chips to tear into.

There are some interesting biomaterials that we could work with, but I stressed, multiple times, that this creature is far too dangerous to even consider using in military research projects. It's aggressive, stupid, vicious, aggressive, impossible to train, and did I mention aggressive?
. . .their limbs work on hydraulic principles and operate under pressure, which is why they splurt like a popped water balloon when they get hit in those Marine camera feeds we saw. A slight wound to a limb takes them right the hell out of commission, and now your troops have to deal with an insanely aggressive and stupid xenomorphic K-9 unit that oh by the way IS BLEEDING ACID.

So Ratchet delves into the Iaconian underworld, tracking down the back-alley medics who--apparently despite themselves--are saving lives...
Knock Out lost more than his faceplate and his hands to Zeta Prime: he lost his pride. Breakdown cares for the weak and the wounded, despite his better instincts.
