His beard is unshaven, a patchy constellation of salt and pepper, but his eyes are impossibly young.
They gleam with mischief, intelligence, and something else - something old and knowing. He watches Gen with open amusement, like someone who just found an unexpected letter in a familiar book. “I didn’t expect you. I’ve been trying for Yuzuriha or Taiju since I can’t get to Senku.”
