Something isn´t right...
The day after Rufus´s and Mateo´s heartbreaking deaths, both of them resuscitate in their respective homes as if nothing had happened and cope with severe symptomathology. Rufus remembers everything. Mateo remembers nothing. Lidia and Malcolm definitely know; it´s a matter of time before they end up searching each other and start questioning what happened. In the progress of events, Mateo has vivid dreams about an End Day that he´s sure he never lived.
Mateo and Rufus are two young adults who are famous in TV for being the first surviving Deckers in history, and when they meet in person for the first time more pieces of the puzzle come together as the gang works to develop Mateo´s memory and his behold of events. Rufus, on his side, copes with PTSD and substance whatnots, the aftermath of standing up to the Death´s face and seeing the love of your life die in your arms.
Only to then wake up and forget about you.
