Summer vacation is in full swing and Wednesday and Enid have been hopelessly pining for each other the entire break. What Enid does not realise is that Wednesday has been on a mission to court her all summer, and Wednesday Addams is no quitter.

“I must be in love with you.”
Enid's vitals spiked up. She shoot up from the bed, against her better judgement, and had to prop herself up on the bedrails to stay upright as her blood pressure faced a drop.
“What?!”
“What you heard.” Wednesday looked away coldly. “I am not saying it again.”

Six months after the events of the season two finale, Enid wakes up in a hospital back. Human, or as close as she could get, and severely malnourished. Wednesday offers to take care of her.

Wednesday’s touch was so light she couldn't help but look down for just a split second, almost unsure it was happening.
“You’re…warm,” Wednesday commented.
At that, Enid felt her face flush, tilting her head even further, like maybe she could make out how many tiny stems were on each tree if she tried hard enough.
“Are you always?”
“Hm?” Enid tore her eyes from the trees, landing directly on Wednesday as if there were no other destination for her eyes.
“Warm. You’re always this way?”
Enid let out a small laugh, shrugging her shoulders. She felt warmer than usual. In fact, she wasn't sure she ever felt this warm in her twenty-one years.
She didn't say that, though.
Instead, “I guess so.”

“I have no problem hunting you down.” As soon as those words left Wednesday’s mouth, Enid knew there was nothing that she wouldn’t do for Wednesday. She didn’t know how Wednesday had found her, or even why Wednesday bothered, but she knew now that her feelings went far beyond that of a casual friendly roommate.
Enid had spent the majority of Summer break stuck in her wolf form, begging in her mind for Wednesday to make good on her promise. One August afternoon, the bushes shook as a tired and beaten up Wednesday emerged before Enid’s eyes, the sight of the Raven taking Enid out of her form almost immediately. They lock eyes for the first time in months and now have to navigate this time in their lives together, no longer apart.
