After the inspection mission to the Nibelheim reactor, trooper Cloud Strife realizes something is amiss with Sephiroth. Thanks to a chance encounter with his idol, they end up in the traditional Nibelheim mountain sauna where they explore wild Nibel bathing traditions together.
After all, there isn't a worry in the world that can't be healed with ice swimming and a bit of naked communication.

Summary: When Sephiroth ends up changed due to an experiment done by Hojo, a wildlife expert is needed to stop him from going on more rampages. Luckily, Zack knows a country bumpkin like himself that is very good with dealing with wild creatures. Even spiders! Zack figures that Sephiroth has wolf traits, and there was no way Spiky would remain angry if he set things up so that Cloud could meet his hero! Zack just has no idea that Tseng was going to put the two on lock down for safety reasons.
Or: Cloud very much does not want to spend time with his hero, Zack unknowingly acts as a relationship counselor, and Sephiroth blames these instincts for wanting scritches and cuddles. They 'socially awkward' together in just the right way that they get along where they normally would not get along with anyone. Zack believes the two are too sweet and innocent for dating and refuses to believe they are falling in love, and Kunsel is always right except the one time he isn't.

When Shepard goes to Omega, she finds her old friend and his vigilante squad holed up and fending off three united mercenary groups. She also finds the ten-year-old self-made vigilante Garrus took under his wing. It doesn’t take long to realize that leaving him with a normal family isn’t an option. She and Garrus will just have to do.
Cloud, for his part, has no plans or ambitions after killing Sephiroth for the fourth time and saving (almost) everyone. He certainly didn’t intend to strand himself in a dimension of spacefaring civilizations on the verge of total annihilation. Still, a suicide mission past the Omega-4 relay sounds like the perfect way to go out.
