A new years kiss is pointless anyways, Grian would rather spend the evening sitting on his couch covered in overpriced throw blankets as a makeshift bed for his cats instead. Being in a crowded room surrounded by drunk and sweaty kissing candidates was genuine nightmare fuel to begin with, so he was fine leaving his lips untouched this New Years.

It’s been nearly a week since Scar kissed him. Under the porch light, before the watching eyes of the city's most beloved hero. It was because Morphling was watching. That’s all it was.

Summary
Grian has a little issue, he's a lacking a bit of money to pay his rent in time. He has only a few days left before payment, and he can't risk being kicked out of this apartment, since he had been living there with Scar since the beginning of their studies together.
But he's no beggar or crybaby, he won't resort to just ask his friends to lend money, that was just the wrong thing to do.Instead, he'll do something he knows he's good at and knows it'll give him the money just in time. The only small downsides of this side hustle are that for one, it's illegal, and two, he hates coming back bruised all over and having to make up a really good lie for it.
So, just for tonight, he'll go use his fists to get himself to his goal, no matter who's against him. Well, there's of course one exception...
Just one person he'd be willing to stop fighting for.(It's a "patching you up" fic)

"Ah, shh, it's okay, little kitty! I mean no harm, little guy..." The man cooed softly as he smiled at Grian.
Grian growled in response, backing away until his paw nearly fell off the edge of the dumpster. The man slowly reached for the brown bag that was slung over his shoulder. Grian, confused, watched as he fumbled around inside the bag without taking his eyes off of Grian. Apparently, he found what he was looking for and smiled as he slowly pulled the object out and held it in front of him. It was a thin aluminium can, which the man easily and swiftly opened via the pull tab.
Grian recognized the smell instantly.

Or; Grian is a catshifter who struggles to take care of his siblings Jimmy and Pearl. One day, he gets caught stealing a trash bag full of food by an extremely friendly human named Scar. A few weeks later he meets a very friendly house cat named Sunflower, who suddenly won't leave him or his siblings alone
