Yoongi had spent far too many nights pretending he wasn’t dead, pretending that in the morning, Jimin would come by and Yoongi would be able to open the door for him. They’d kiss to say hello, maybe more than just a peck, Yoongi’s tongue delicately slipping between Jimin’s lips, so he could tangle theirs together.
If Yoongi could cry, he’d be nothing more than a puddle each time Jimin showed up to see him.
Not that long after Jimin woke, Yoongi was alone again. He’d seen Jimin off with sad eyes and a half-hearted smile, gripping his hands tightly together behind his back so he wouldn’t be tempted to reach for Jimin’s cheek like he always was.
