Summary
Optimus was working, that's what he called it every time Elita-1 and Sentinel tried to get him to join their crusade around town visiting every bar in Iacon before the sun rose. He had been admitted to Autobot academy mostly on scholarships, but like all good things, nothing lasts forever. Something, something about his application never being received for the semester and missing out on basically 6 months of funding that could have kept him afloat.
Optimus needed to get 38,000 shanix within a week— a simple passing comment from Elita-1 who was making drunk jokes later… Optimus soon found himself creating an account on OnlyBots and setting up a live stream.
Optimus fucks himself on camera and somehow ends up attracting the Decepticon warlord to his stream.

“I can’t understand why the Magnus is still letting you stay a free mech. If all the other cadets knew that a slagging murderer was among us then they would be horrified. You don’t deserve anything, not after what you did to Elita.”
Or: Set in before the events of Animated, Optimus isn’t having a good time. One of his trine members hates his guts, and he killed the other. Or, at least, that’s what the first trine member says.
He does his work with ease like a perfect Autobot, but he finds himself with more free time. More free time means more thinking. More thinking means more thinking about Elit— no, no.
Guilt eats at Optimus, and soon, he can’t take it anymore.
Optimus decides to try to drink his feelings away, and was on course to, until a certain gunmetal gray mech stopped his plans with a deep voice and large servos.
Shit, it’s Megatron.

Some time prior to the story Optimus reluctantly buys an oversized false spike. He finds he enjoys it very much.
Shenanigans happen when they both turn up on Earth together.
This starts as Animated, however little knowledge of that TF verse is needed or used.

Megatron wants this beauty he saw, but doesn't know who he is, that is until the Kingdom of Iacon is in trouble when Ultra Magnus falls ill with his consort and their eldest son, Sentinel Prime, takes over. Optimus seeks out the help of Kaon and Vos, the other two main kingdoms of Cybertron, and encounters the mech he met, the mech that has always been on his mind, the mech he believes he fell for that day. Can the Prince save Iacon with the help of the King of Kaon?
