“I want to know how he died!” Jason snapped after a pause, scowling. “I’ve gone through everything in the system. All the files B has on it says that he died, but there’s no details! There’s no description of the scene, no suspects, no cause of death, no anything. All it says is that he’s dead.”
“Maybe it’s not something you should look into…” Dick trailed off but Jason’s reply was lost to Tim’s ears.
‘That’s not funny.’
Despite his best efforts, a giggle escaped Tim’s lips.
Or: Tim just wanted to drop some information off to the Cave, not talk about the Joker.

Summary
When the screen flickers to life, Tony can’t help but stumble, feeling all of the air being ripped from his lungs. Because it’s Peter - AKA Spider-Man, AKA his personal intern, strapped to a metal chair in a stingy basement. He’s bruised and battered, soaking wet and eyes wild, chest moving erratically.
But somehow, it’s not the tears streaked down his face, or the blood speckling the floor that sets a heavy dread in Tony’s stomach, making bile rise in his throat.
No, it’s none of that. It’s the arc reactor messily planted in the centre of the teens chest that sends him crashing to his knees.
