Summary
Jason Todd may have survived the warehouse but Joker left him one horrible "parting gift" that Jason fully intends to get rid off - in secret, of course. Under the guise of wanting to attend a concert in Toronto for his sixteenth birthday, Jason manages to employ Dick as his personal chauffeur for the ulterior motive of getting abortion care at a clinic in the neighboring country without anyone finding out. A road trip to deliverance ensues.

Of course, adopting in this case is technically kidnapping, but since Jason is a vampire, Dick can basically legally do whatever he wants with him.

OR, me realising that Bruce — and just in general the bats — never even found out what actually happened leading up to that warehouse between Sheila and Jason, so I decided to take matters into my own hands; adding in a bit of sprinkled Jason being emotionally hurt with an additive of clueless bats to the mix as well as a lot of accidental assumptions that Jason just let them make.
