His breath comes in harsh bursts, loud exhales and inhales as he breathes in, breathes out. But why? Why is he allowed to continue breathing? Chin digging into his chest as he shuts his eyes, Dean stops.
Stops breathing, for a moment, as if forfeiting his oxygen supply could give life back to Cas. He waits a moment. Inhales again.
"Dammit Cas."
