He only sees him late at night, at his trailer or in the woods, and he makes sure his car is hidden or parked a good distance away.

Summary
Eddie has no idea what Hallmark movie bullshit he’s stumbled into, but when Nancy comes back home for the Christmas season, meets up with Robin, and the two of them fall in love, someone has to return the engagement ring to Nancy’s ex-fiancé. It’s just Eddie’s luck that he’s the one happening to leave the small town and drive to the big city, where he meets the ex-fiancé and possibly the most gorgeous man to ever exist – Steve.
Alternate Universe in which Eddie and Steve meet for the first time as adults at Christmastime.

Summary
When the power briefly goes out in their dorm, Eddie blindly grabs what he assumes to be a flashlight from Steve's bed. As if having a crush on his hot roommate wasn't enough, accidentally discovering his sex toy sends Eddie into such a spiral of graphic fantasies about Steve that he can no longer look him in the eye and tries to avoid him at all cost. Until Steve confronts him about his behavior one morning, and things take a very unexpected, rather embarrassing at first, but absolutely amazing turn, with Steve matching his freak down to a capital F.
