Summary
If he was being completely honest, he was trying not to think about Kata as much as possible - even if he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t out collecting seeds for her. Maybe he felt bad for another orphaned child, maybe he felt bad about being the reason for it. Again, he was trying not to think about it.

(SEASON 4 SPOILERS)
(Set post Sofia’s death in season 4)The death of Falcone - the older Falcone - had shaken Victor more than he’d ever wanted to admit. The man had found him during the darkest time of his life, and given Victor a purpose in working for him. And then he was gone. The man who, in a way, was as much of a father to him as his biological one, gone in an instant. He kept almost expecting to one day wake up and find the man waiting outside his door.
But he never did.

Victor Zsasz isn’t dealing with the death of the ex-Don Falcone quite as well as he’d like to believe, and isn’t feeling so great about betraying Oswald either. He’s determined to fix it.

Summary
Victor liked the Penguin. The man paid him well, and treated his work with respect. He understood when to kill someone, and he understood what it meant to do so.
Victor, decidedly, did not like Edward Nygma. Something about the man rubbed him the wrong way, even if he couldn’t quite put a finger on it.
But the two were blind as bats if they still believed they were just friends.
