“Don't be foolish, I do not need a mother, real or imaginary,” Damian said in a haughty tone of voice. The hand on his shoulder tightened.
“Oh yeah? Then who are you writing for on mother’s day? Everyone knows this assignment is mandatory so fess up already,” and Damian opened his mouth once again before he could stop himself.
“I will be writing to Richard,” and then immediately regretted it. But it was too late, he had already told the entire class that he would be writing a mother’s day letter to Grayson and he couldn't take it back unless he wished to be branded a coward.

Tim wakes up in a world in which Batman doesn't exist. And by consequence, the Robins never became heroes.
Dick is a Talon, Jason is Red Hood (a villain), and Damian is a League of Assassins assassin. And Tim apparently is a hero called Draken, who, frankly, sucks at being a hero.
And in this weird alternate reality, something big is brewing and Batman isn't here to keep the Justice League from tearing itself apart.
Tim is really really done with everything. Dick, Jason, and Damian aren't helping.
Tim really really hates magic as well.

She looks exactly how you knew she would, she's even in the same dim little corner booth she grabs whenever it's not occupied. She's dizzily giggling with two girls hanging off her and fucking christ, that's a straight up undiluted bottle of vodka she's taking heavy swigs from. You walk up to the table and when she doesn't even notice you standing there you clench a fist tight to keep your shit under control.
"Rox," you say loudly, and she doesn't even hear you. "Rox!" She raises the bottle to her lips again and somehow that's the last straw.
"ROXY FUCKING LALONDE!" you yell at the top of your lungs, and slam your fist down on the table.
