Summary
Regression Genre: The protagonist returns to a younger version of themselves with their current memory and lives again.
In his past life, Alastor destroyed the royal family to take revenge for his mother's death but he still craved more blood. In order to slay the last surviving member of the royal family, he began to send letters to the Grand Duke of the North, Lucifer Morningstar, attempting to goad him into visiting the capitol. An unlikely friendship bloomed from their exchanges until Alastor trusted the Grand Duke more than his own spouse, Vox. As the years went by and their friendship deepened, Vox tried to assassinate Alastor to take complete control of the kingdom. In their final confrontation, Alastor and Vox are too equally matched and end up killing each other. His one regret, never having the opportunity to meet his closest friend, Lucifer.
In this life, Alastor journeys north to remedy his regret and save his mother. He simply wants to live a peaceful life with his mother and closest friend but fate had never been kind to him....

He was not prepared for Lucifer, the man who ruined his mid-morning coffee run, to reignite the fire in his heart that once drove him to compose. He was not expecting the return of the muse he lost years ago to be accompanied by violin concertos and dazzling sapphire eyes.And Lucifer? He just needed to get out of his newly-leased divorcee pad and figured the old violin he found amidst the boxed up ruins of his marriage was better than pickleball.

Summary
With this particular time of the year approaching with the speed of light again, Alastor seals himself up in his hotel room to suffer through his own humiliation alone and away from the prying eyes. What he hasn't foreseen, though, is the fact that living with a certain King under the same roof might significantly change things. And change things it does, seemingly to the point of no return.
For the first time in his life it seems that it’s him who’s the one being hunted instead of being a hunter himself. However, if the Devil wants to become his mate, he needs to catch him first.
The chase has already begun.
This fic was written for the Hazbin Monsterfucker week 2024, containing a few consecutive prompts, such as: hunting/in nature, belly bump/size difference, knot/very long tongue, mating and additionally a little touch of some eldritch horror just to spice it all up nicely.
