How could this one thing? “Now-demonstrate thy powers.”
This one little thing. “For me. For them. For you.”
Change so much? “We are all running out of time.”
Change how the whole story is meant to go? “No matter what,”
Maybe it's a good thing. “never let go of that hand.”
Or maybe it's a bad thing. “... Then don’t let go of my hand and I’ll never let go of yours.”
Whatever it is, it's only just begun.

"THE LAST THING THE GIRL REMEMBERED before she was swallowed by the darkness was the tilted clock of her bedroom wall. It was strange that in a house full of glaring imperfections that the clock is the last thing that she saw but nevertheless, that was what she saw last. The clock always went tick-tick-ticking away on the regular – she hated it. She despised the clock. She never knew why – was it because it was tilted? Maybe the ticking was too loud? It didn’t matter – she never wanted to see it again.
Which was okay. Because she never did."Soleil Prescott is somehow the least and most interesting student existing at this school. Magicless and interdimensional. Unassuming and bold. A paradox. But she wasn't always a student here. No, she was a janitor first and there were many more trials and tests she'd have to succeed at to prove she was strong enough to survive in this Twisted Wonderland.
