Summary

It started as a small fill, and has grown organically into something resembling an actual plot with character analysis, anatomical research, attempts at historical accuracy, and a hint of the history of opium poppies.

This story has been masterfully written and to have it end with no further chapters is just too much for your readers to handle. I am sobbing as I type this. I know real life has interfered (what nerve!) but please see if you can finish this story. As another reader put it in their Comments, it is agony to watch the characters you adore be tortured and broken with no conclusion.
