Summary
George is so thoroughly beyond the tiny things, each miniature moment that can't be catalogued in it's exact interpretation. He'll always be a little off the mark, too much to the left or too little to the right, never knowing when someone's angry or sad or elated because he can't sense it. Can't pick up on the tantalizing scents of hunger, the acrid, noisome smell of discomfort, the blazing harshness of rage, all of it so foreign.
The only saving grace is that they all try so hard for him.
(Beta George gets passed like a blunt between drivers.)

When did it end? All the enjoyment
I'm sad again, don't tell my boyfriend
It's not what he's made for
What was I made for?

Summary
"Have you been since he finished the studio out there?" Dhani asked, pulling him back into the moment.
"Haven't been since before it was finished. Never been anywhere near it." Dhani hummed noncommittally. The last time they'd been in the studio together at all had been over a decade ago. George had spent a sizable portion of the end of the seventies telling anyone who would listen and a few who wouldn't that he'd never record with Paul again. He'd broken that vow already, too long ago for Dhani to even remember. Paul was almost as much a fairytale for him as John.
Or: George and Paul and The Anthology. Truth and memory and the cutting room floor.
