Summary

This story explores changing friendships and relationships. It explores the idea that one's mind can become their worst enemy. The difference between healing and avoidance. Kinda a deep dive into mental health and love persisting.

Summary
“Wait,” Suguru says in a rush, and Satoru just can’t help it anymore. He turns around, only to see Suguru very visibly hesitating about something, his movements jittery. There’s a look of relief that finds his face for a moment at Satoru’s eyes locking with his own, but it disappears so quickly it’s almost like it was never quite there in the first place. His shoulders deflate as he exhales, as if he’s preparing himself for a wildfire that may break out any second now. “I’ve missed you.”
“You–” he starts, his teeth gritting and jaw clenching. “Don’t say that.”
“I do.” Suguru insists, and he looks so visibly upset that Satoru would suggest otherwise, as if there isn’t several piles of evidence that could back up his suggestions – leaving without a trace, the ten years with no contact whatsoever, ignoring all of Satoru’s texts and pleading calls. “Not a day has gone by where I haven’t thought about you.”
And that–
That just makes Satoru miserable.
(Satoru, with a strong urge to be touched with love that he can’t seem to get rid of no matter how hard he tries, crosses paths yet again with the holder of the other half of his heart – Geto Suguru.)

Summary
Satoru's hands clench in his pants pockets, and he feels the hairs on the back of his neck raise. It’s not possible. But then…he would never mistake it. It may have been 10 years, but he’d never forget these residuals. The Six-Eyes broaden their focus, searching the area. Satoru swallows, his throat clicking, and he steps forward. He doesn’t hurry his pace, unsure of what he’ll find, and he walks toward a small alley that juts out from the main street.
Crumpled on the ground, back leaning against one of the buildings, is Suguru.

10 years after Geto Suguru defects from Jujutsu society, he suddenly appears in front of Satoru alone and dying. Satoru refuses to let him die because this is his second chance. Their second chance.

Summary
Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of today, loved by many, doubted by none, currently, at the age of twenty-nine, finds himself laying on the floor, lifeless.
He is cut in half, with scars all over his body, but most importantly, Suguru takes notice of how his chest has stopped rising.
Or, what happens when Satoru is the first to die?
