Summary
This series loosely follows the principles of the American Girl books. There will [hopefully] be five collections within the series based on the five main themes of each book.
1. Meet Spectrum - Introducing the characters in childhood during a defining early experience, ages 0-16.
2. Spectrum Learns a Lesson - The characters experience something with a lesson for them and the reader to take away from it.
3. Spectrum's Surprise - The character surprises someone else by doing something nice for them.
4. Happy Birthday, Spectrum! - The character receives a gift that either helps or symbolises their personal growth.
5. Changes for Spectrum - The character enters a new major chapter of their life.Unlike the AG books, as I understand them (never read them, I'm not American, I just like watching video essays about them), the characters will not be fixed at 9/10 years old. The stories will also not be in chronological order, and not every character will get a chapter in every collection.

Nonsensically, as the Admiral steps up to the podium, the first thing that Maverick notices is that he’s wearing his wedding ring. The second thing he notices is that Tom’s looking at him, too. And, of course, he recognizes him. There’s a brief flash of panic in his gaze before he’s turning a wide, disarming smile on the group at large - his reaction to Maverick disappearing under a veneer of civility and professionalism in an instant.
