Summary
In-ho begins the game of cat and mouse long before Gi-hun demands to be let back onto the island. Infinitely curious about the past winner, his plans, and with the aim to prepare accordingly for Gi-hun's doomed-from-the-start attack, In-ho works diligently to build a friendship between them.
He never expects to be so played by his own game. He definitely does not expect his developing feelings for the other man to uproot everything he's built since he put on the geometric mask - to make him question his own identity and convictions. But when the consequences of loving Seong Gi-hun catch up with him to make him pay for what he's done, he might just let them.

The question is calm, almost curious, as if he’s asking about the weather.
In-ho’s breath clouds in front of him. He meets Gi-hun’s eyes—those ridiculous, stubborn eyes—and for once doesn’t lie.
“Yes,” he says, the word scraping out like gravel. “You didn’t… make it off the island.”In-ho escapes the island with the baby, hiding in a remote coastal house haunted by guilt and eerie signs: moving toys, familiar songs on a broken turntable, gunpowder scents. Then Gi-hun appears—translucent, confused, calling him Young-il. A haunting born of regret, a fragile companionship neither can let go, and one final message that sends In-ho searching for answers.

Summary
Ryland wilts in the makeshift nest and blows out a long sigh. “Look, it's not that I'm ideologically against it or anything, Rock. It's just that—nothing has ever.” He abruptly pauses, wrinkling his nose to reconfigure his thought pattern while he stares at the ceiling of the ship and makes a vague hand gesture through the air. His blood capillaries are still dilated but not as obscenely as before. “Nobody has ever…y’know? Gosh, why is it so hard to talk about this right now?”
Simultaneous surprise and arousal hit Rocky like twin bolts of frenetic lightning. He would almost break out into joyous song if that didn’t feel slightly inappropriate in light of Grace’s burning bashfulness. “Oh, Rocky understand now,” he gently cuts in. “Grace is a virgin.”

While studying the astrophage in the dingy, hollow hangar, Grace coughs. And a cough isn't supposed to trigger a full-scale quarantine, but Stratt disagrees.
Grace is pretty sure everyone is overreacting. After all, it's a cough. A cold? The sniffles, at worst. It's nothing to freak out about and it surely doesn't warrant this type of shutdown, right?
He is, unfortunately, wrong about that.
