M-21 looked up from his spot in the kitchen as he heard a very soft, familiar sound. Like the sound of something soft sliding over something or brushing against something. It was a sound that M-21 couldn’t quite place, and it always came from Frankenstein. It was so soft that he could only hear it when Frankenstein was standing close to him.
Frankenstein gave him a small smile as he finished making tea, before heading back into the lounge room. M-21 was perceptive, he’d learned to be in the Union, so he always paid attention to these kinds of things. He never knew when that information might be needed. But for this M-21 just didn’t know what to think about it...
