The tree was enormous; bright green and red lights winding up a narrow spruce, round multicolored baubles dancing in the cool breeze. Sitting in the middle of a lush green island, the top of which was strewn with deep blue and warm yellow lights, it proudly outshone the black streetlamps lining the corridor. The whole almost 70 feet supposedly radiating warmth and holly jolly spirit, save a small dark spot at the bottom. As she drew closer, the uncomfortable realization it was a person almost made her turn back

Vi’s grin widened as she rocked her hips up, grinding herself against the strap in a slow, deliberate motion that made Caitlyn shudder. “What’s wrong, sheriff?” Vi drawled, her voice dripping with mockery. “Losing control? Or is it that you’re imagining how good it’s gonna feel when you finally—”
