It's the first three-day weekend the Navy has given them in what feels like a lifetime, and Hangman is going to make the most of it by doing absolutely nothing. Well, that, or going on a last-minute camping trip with Rooster. Alone. Just two friends who probably flirt a little too openly for them to be well out of the Frat bro age range. It's not really a decision Jake has to make, because as soon as the guy asks, he knows he's spending his weekend in a tent.

So asking his son's partner about his intentions and scaring him shitless, is just his way of making damn sure nobody dares to treat Jake any less than he deserves. He really could care less that both Jake and his partner are in their thirties.
