Summary
Left behind in Night City, V is slowly dying as the Relic destroys her body. Rather than lie down and die, she decides to leave her flesh behind and look for Johnny beyond the Blackwall.
When V and Johnny smashed Mikoshi, they released thousands of souls into Alt’s care. Every one of them followed her past the Blackwall, to Ghost City, where the soulkilled can live under her protection. V will soon find out that living as a disembodied engram is weirder than she imagined. She might be free from the ravages of the Relic, but trouble has a way of finding her.

Summary
Johnny hates brand deals. Unfortunately, the label requires the band to do them from time to time. They get roped into a collab with a famous BD porn star--the launch of a brand new line of fetishwear. Kerry decides to make the event a little bit more interesting by offering Johnny a deal.
“Fuck, you’re dense.” Kerry rolls his eyes and also gives up on not annoying the others. “You wanna fuck tonight? You do exactly as I say until the event is over, and then you’ll get whatever you want from me.”
Johnny flashes his teeth and grins at the other guitarist. “Whatever I want, huh?”
“Within reason and established boundaries.”
“Of course,” he scoffs. “I’m a slut, not a monster.”

Summary
They did it. V and Johnny make it to Mikoshi so that Alt can finally separate them. Instead of waking up a legend, V wakes up in her old bed in her old apartment recovering from the aftermath of Konpeki.
V and Johnny are back to square one but with the knowledge of everything they did last time. Maybe they can get through their predicament without gonking it up this time. Only problem is now they can touch each other and they can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves.
Armed with the knowledge of the past, they try to do it better this time. Until time resets. Again. And Again.

Instead of rotting in a prison stasis tank for eternity after surviving the bombing of Arasaka, Johnny Silverhand is released. Things around Night City haven't changed much, so he's getting the band back together. But Johnny has to figure out where he fits into everything 50 years later and not much wiser, including with Kerry's new choom, a weird, uptight corpo-turned-merc chick named V.

Vik spreads his hands. “Don’t ask me why flowers, kid. But you’re going to be dealing with them for a while. In ways that won’t always be predictable, I’d say, because we don’t know shit about this.” He pauses for a moment. “Unless you confess.”
“My sins?” V lifts a brow, smirking. “Then we’ll be here a while.”
She expects that to land, to break a little ice. To make him snort, roll an eye, something.
Instead, Vik just looks at her, expressionless.
“Your feelings,” he says at last, “for the person you’re in love with.”
What the fuck?
“What the fuck?” she repeats, out loud.
“Oh, you heard him,” Johnny says, grinning as he plants his hands on his hips. “Hanahaki: the deadly love virus. Comes with flowers, ends with you choking on them – unless you confess.”

V picks up a virus that’s supposed to force a love confession out of its unlucky carrier. Otherwise… well. You know the drill. The problem is, V isn’t in love. Good thing Johnny Silverhand is suddenly very invested in figuring out the secrets of her heart.

Johnny blips out of existence—only to rematerialize behind her, slouched back against her apartment window with a cigarette slotted in his lips. "Was like the old days, putting together an album: I've got the vision; braindance chick's jotting concepts on the back of a napkin."
"Right. So the sort of thing you jerk it to with your pinky sticking out."
Johnny exhales a zigzag of smoke as he shakes his head. "This ain't some gluey nudie mag, V. This is feeling."
Or: While in control of V's body one night, Johnny commissions a braindance for the two of them to watch together.
