Denki subtly slides his dead phone from his pocket and onto the desk. Using Ojiro’s bulk to hide it, he tilts the screen toward himself until he can see his reflection. There, along his neck, are bruises in the shape of fingers.
Bruises.

In the shape of fingers.
He literally looks like he was choked.
With all the calm he can muster, Denki gently places his phone face down and starts buttoning his shirt. He gets about halfway before he feels eyes on him and makes the mistake of looking to his right. Mina’s watching him, her mouth open and her gum on the edge of falling out. He snatches his collar closed, flushing. She blinks a few times, frowns, and puts her hand around her throat. Denki swallows.
Fuck.
Or: Denki's boyfriend likes to leave bruises and Denki likes that he likes to leave bruises. The issue is: his friends don't know that. They don't even know he has a boyfriend.

“No,” Kaminari hops on top of the kitchen island, “only you two.”
The spatula that Bakugou was holding slips out of his hand.
