An SI into Tommen Baratheon, first of his name. It's hard enough being King without the apocalypse from the North and the dragons in the East. But he has those anyway. Alongside his murderous subjects and a growing religious schism in his own backyard. A printing press isn't going to be enough to stop the knives in the dark, even if he did know how to make one.
Best not to make one anyway. Something is seriously wrong with this world. He's sure the list nailed on the Great Septs' doors this time would be much longer than Luther's 95. The small folk inventing the guillotine as a response would be just his luck.
Best to just play the Game of Thrones and survive long enough to give up and ask for a pardon when Daenerys arrives.

Would this be it? The first gem of his hoard that would finally make the feeling go away? Firefist would have no choice but to comply, of course, and Shamrock would make sure he wanted for nothing. He would not be the first dragon to have humans for his hoard after all.
He knew he needed to be smart about how he approached this matter. He would have to do this the right way - the old fashioned way.
Shamrock's dragon is not appeased by gems or coins, by knowledge of old or the vastness of the hoard the Figarland family had amassed. No matter how much he forces himself, he cannot be content with the cavern his ancestors had created. It's a good thing Firefist Ace's execution is plastered on all newspapers - it allows him to realize that perhaps he needs something else.
No one quite expected pirates to be that specific something else.
