Summary
Genma landed in the spring of Drowned Panda, Ranma landed next to the spring of Drowned Girl. They went to the Amazon's for a possible cure, and that didn't go as planned. So Ranma ran off and returned to Jusenkyo.
Shiro Hibiki and her wife were used to finding a number of things when they return home. Spoiled foods, dust build up, a happy dog of black and white, and on occasion their son...but they weren't expecting a red haired girl that used to be a boy their son knew hiding from her biological father.

Our story begin much the same as any other... but in this case, the springs were a bit… damaged, causing some of them to get mixed up with the others.. and of course, Ranma Saotome had to fall into one of the mixed springs, which turned him into something completely different… and so, when he emerged he was not only cursed, but also not alone.

They may have bodies that turn into a girl and some kind of tailless beaver-rat now when splashed with cold water, but that shouldn't deter them from their search for the Philosopher's Stone! Though it is a bit bothersome just how common cold water seems to be these days... that, and how Ed does not know how to feel about this cursed form of his or how people treat him in it.
But at least this martial artist named Ranma who got the same curse is probably doing fine. Right?
