Summary
It's Christmas Day, and Steve and Bucky are spending it at the Stark Expo, despite the fact that Science Nerd!Bucky has been there just about every day since it opened. But there's a new exhibit opening today called Avengers Alley - a hallway dedicated to larger-than-life marble statues of every current member of the Avengers team.
Except Bucky - at least as far as Bucky thinks. After all, this is Tony's event, and it's been less than two weeks since The Anniversary, so Tony isn't known for being the most charitable towards Bucky around this time of year. There's no way Tony thinks of Bucky as one of the team, so there's no way Bucky's going to be featured along with the rest of his friends.
The thing is, Bucky doesn't realize that Tony might just know who he really is, at the core of him.

After Butch's induction into the Brotherhood, Vishous wonders whether the fantasy can finally become a reality. Roomies, best friends, Brothers, or lovers? How about all? V knows it's too much to ask for after hundreds of years of loneliness and detachment, but he's daring to hope.
This is the HEA story that I wish V and Butch could have had. In my mind they're meant to be, so I'm re-routing their story in a different direction. Some fluff, some humour, some hotness, some ups and downs (not too many downs) but ultimately the HEA these precious babies deserve! I've tried to cover lots of canon elements and include as many of them as I can within the story. And yes, there's even some Penthouse action.
Story is V/Butch heavy with a small amount of other OG character interaction.

This story takes place before Marissa and Butch were mated, Butch has already been through is tranformation to a vampire and Jane (I'm sorry Jane, I love you) is not in the picture.
I probably won’t be continuing this story.... I tried and I just had no inspiration.

It's the scene I think Ward never wrote but has clearly alluded to. These beloved characters belong to the genius of JR Ward, and I do not plan to ever profit from her creativity.
