He’s in a gas station bathroom off a remote highway close to the Croatian border, getting ready to bleach his hair; the ringtone bounces shrilly off the bare tiles and makes his jaw clench tight.

(bucky hadn’t remembered the gotham gorillas, either, but he’s starting to care less and less.)
“gotta work ‘cause mom can’t,” says jason. “can’t do that if i’m in school – ha! suck it, bucky,” he says smugly as the yankees hit a foul ball with zero strikes.
