Summary
A collection of fics of varying lengths and quality produced my Deadlock brainworms, most of them interactions between characters I think are neat and that I want to see hang out together outside of the Rituals.
Chapter 1: Mina encounters Drifter in an alley and goes to the Baroness uninvited. Don't worry, it works out in her favor and she learns more than she thinks she needed to about the Drifter and the doorman.

Summary
An aroma as soft and sweet as caramel dripping off a spoon pools into the street. It traps Mina by her feet, leaves her heavy and stuck to the pavement. Beneath the sugar lies fire. Smoke, escorted by the delicate warmth of cinnamon, billowing in the dark. Drifter must smell it too, by the way his chin tilts upward, mouth open and scenting the air. A low, tender sound slips past her lips, and she is far too distracted to be ashamed of it, or notice Drifter’s own.
Mina’s body is convinced before her mind is, though it is quick to justify itself. The benefits of such an encounter are simply too grand. An easy meal, a warm body, and an experience to put the viscount to shame.
Mina struggles to strike a balance between lust and hunger after developing a charm for the Doorman. Drifter insists the difference is trivial.

Summary
With the bloodied glove, the Doorman drives his thumb into the Drifter's mouth and hooks it in his cheek. The blood from his nose slowly drips down his chin, never enough to give Drifter the taste he so desperately wanted.
Breathing noisily through his nose, the Drifter has to force a swallow that is loud and demeaning for the fact that he wasn't being allowed to close his mouth to preform the action. A shudder traces up his spine as it only grants him a deeper pull of air, like he could will the blood into his very lungs to drown in. Narrowing his eyes into beady, red slits, the Drifter angles his chin down to bare his throat. He doesn't dare look anywhere else but into the Doorman's striking eyes but simply rumbles— a throaty, glottal noise of an animal that hasn't been domesticated.
"You will beg."
