When you live for so long, life gets boring, even when you live a life as dangerous as Antonio - a vampire that serves as the left hand man to the oldest mafia family in the downtown city.
Winter worked as a doctor in the trauma unit of the hospital in the center of downtown. A hot head with zero filter, she captured Antonio's attention.
Antonio is determined to swoon her, only for it to backfire on him. Next hard lesson for him to learn is when he has something to live for, every one of his enemies is looking to use it against him.

Zayne isn’t stupid— the feeling that rolls in his stomach, burning hot despite his ice-cold temperature, must be affection at bare minimum. He softly hums in the calm of his office and tries it out, tasting the feel on his tongue. Affection is soft and peppers his senses with little bubbles of fondness. Fondness— could that be it? But that also seems far too shallow.
He doesn’t know what it can be called, this feeling for the hunter that tumbled back into his life once more.
