Summary
As far as anyone knew, there was no way to turn a human, whether cattle or companion, into a vampire. The vampires had come to be millennia before, the last vampire to be discovered being James Barton, known as Sir Crocodile, just over a thousand years ago. Any humans who remembered his companionship were dead, and the vampires who had met Dracule Mihawk’s tall companion hadn’t cared enough to remember him.
Except, of course, Dracule Mihawk.Shanks - companion to Dracule Mihawk - is invited to Alabasta to meet a chemist who has completed Shanks' life work. Alabasta is already home to monsters of Mihawk's past, but little do they know Shanks' past is waiting for him too.

Buggy's own smile dropped just as fast. “The fuck you mean “Ain’t it”? You’re this proud of a boat? You came all this way to show me your fucking boat, with its fucking new paint job and its fucking sails and its fucking cannons?” he stroked the cannon again at the word, “What is this, compensating?”Shanks takes his new Red Force - and it's cannons - to show Buggy.

Buggy didn't want to fall into bed with Mihawk and Crocodile. It just sort of… happened, at some point between all the bawling and boot-licking and begging for his life.
And he enjoys himself. Obviously. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Buggy the Star Clown has everything under control.
If only he could get that stupid Red-Hair out of his head.

Summary
If the life force of a vivre card owner is weakening, the card will begin to burn away. It will grow back to its original size if the person recovers, but will disintegrate completely if they die.
Which makes for some interesting visuals if someone's getting fucked to within an inch of their life, as Benn and Shanks are about to find out.
