Krieg huffed loudly, his breath forming a large cloud in the cold air in front of him, and held his thick arms over his chest. Snow crunched beneath his boots as he trudged along the dock, away from his ship. He could make out a town in the near distance as he squinted, and could smell something sweet in the air, possibly cinnamon. Whatever it was, it made his top lip twitch into a sneer.
'It's cold as balls here,' he said, an intellectual and astute observation.

As anybody who spent more than five minutes with him could attest to, everything about Don Krieg was loud and obnoxious. From his gold armour to his tacky grin, a miasma of arrogance surrounded him, and it would not be a huge leap of logic to assume this rampant punchability extended to the bedroom as well.
He lay on the leopard-print sheets of his bed, a slight definition to his soft stomach as he tensed the muscles beneath, and let out a long, excruciating sigh.
Gin had become accustomed to that noise in recent weeks. He mostly chose to ignore it.

Previously, Gin would not have been so disobedient. But the frustration he felt when he coughed himself awake at night, throat raw with each wheeze, had to be directed somewhere. And watching the large man writhe and curse beneath him, fury widening to panic in his eyes, made Gin feel a bit better.
He liked watching Krieg fight, yes, but Gin loved watching him squirm.

If the attraction was mutual, Miguel couldn't tell. Regardless of how he wore his hair or how tightly his shirt gripped his chest, Silco always regarded him with the same disinterest. The same bored expression, the same inevitable sneer.
So it came as a surprise when Silco took an apparent interest in his appearance, and—on the eve of their latest rendezvous—requested that he wear something nice. Well, the exact words were “try not to look so scruffy and for once, Miguel, for once in your life do consider combing your hair” but still, it almost sounded like Silco wanted Miguel to dress up for him.
