    “Today’s a big day, my boy,” Shimano said cryptically. Tamiko nearly leapt out of her seat.

    “It is?”

    Shimano leaned forward and slid a paper that was on the table between them towards him. “Yep. Commit this date to memory, ‘cause yer a married man now.”

    The story of Majima's forced marriage. Set in the early 90s after Yakuza 0 and before the first game. Park Mirei is not present in the story (sorry Park).

    It's been almost a year since Majima has become a civilian, and he's settled down in Sotenbori with his new uneventful life in security. The days pass with ease, and he has nothing to complain about. For once, things are blissfully calm. But then an eccentric woman strongarms him to be her bodyguard as gang violence begins to rise, and she's nothing short of a handful. What bullshit has he got himself into this time?

    -This takes place after Yakuza: Like a Dragon and will reference events from various Yakuza games.
    -This was planned and written before the release of Infinite Wealth, so there is canon divergence.
    -Female MC is a mix of OC and reader-insert and is up to your interpretation. The story is only told in third-person, not second. The female MC has minimal descriptive features and is only described using third-person female pronouns and nicknames (she/her/sensei).

    Desperate for money, you take a job as a secretary. On your first day, you realize it’s for the yakuza, specifically Majima’s family headquarters. You want to find another job, only staying as you'd be homeless without it. As time goes on, wanting to leave becomes harder as you start to develop feelings toward your boss Majima, who is doing everything he can to push you and his feelings away.

    (Massive slow burn. Exploring the idea of meeting, getting to know/butting heads, and dating/establishing a relationship with Majima, through the eyes of an average working-class Kamurocho citizen)
