    “I think I’ve made a mistake,” Eddie says, loud enough for Hen to hear but nobody else.

    Hen turns towards him, a concerned look on her face. “How big are we talking?”

    “One of the assistants just told Buck that Eduardo fell down a flight of stairs earlier.”

    Hen looks at him wide-eyed. “Tell me you didn’t push that man down—”

    “What?” Eddie hisses, cutting her off frantically. “No! I didn’t push Eduardo down a flight of stairs. What the hell, Hen?”

    “Sorry, sorry,” Hen apologises. “It’s just, you were really jealous the other day when you were talking about him dancing with Buck. It’s not that crazy of a conclusion for someone to jump to.”

    (Eddie loves Buck. He does not love men named Eduardo who look just like him and partake in ballroom dancing with the love of his life.)

    “You did some very good crawling today, you’re a rockstar,” Buck keeps his voice hushed as he talks, scared of waking his boyfriend.

    “Next, we gotta work on walking, buddy. You’re gonna love it. Walking is gonna be so fun. And it’s so helpful too. Like, you’re gonna be the flower boy when I marry Papa, and you can’t be the flower boy if you can’t walk down the aisle, okay?” he continues.

    Buck smiles as he gets Chris’ onesie all done up, carrying Chris over to his crib. “As soon as you can walk, I’m gonna ask Papa to marry me.”

     

    OR; chris is very good at crawling and eddie overhears something he wasn't supposed to. which ends in a discussion about defying the laws of biology
