Summary
Sandrone knows what she wants right now.
Everything hurts, but she grits her teeth and pushes through the pain, because there's only one thing she needs to know now, damage to herself be damned. She thinks of Alain, apologetic, eyes still wide open.
"How many living Moon Goddesses are there in possession of the Trilunar Authority?"
One.
A dry laugh spills out of her lips. The key on her back turns faster, and she laughs even more.
She made it back.
She… made it back.
Sandrone goes from knowing what she doesn't want, to knowing what she wants—albeit a little late.

“Why me? What could I have done to be the one you love?”
Columbina laughed, “That’s easy, it’s precisely because it’s you. You were the first one to treat me normally, as an equal without fear nor worship. The one that looked out for me while I was adjusting to the world. The one that invited me to tea parties so I wouldn’t be lonely.”
Each line struck like a bullet, her key recoiling as her resolve bled out.
“You were the one that let me sleep in the safety of your room even when you acted upset. You were the one who refused to give up on me when I fell across the Moon’s reflection. You were the one that died for me.”She regarded Sandrone with an intense clarity, “So is it really so surprising that I’m so deeply bewitched by you? That I mourned your passing with every breath I took?”

Columbina was practically glued to Sandrone's side; on the outside she was bothered by it, but on the inside, Sandrone couldn't have wished for something more sweeter than the feeling of her "best friend" at her side.
It was reassurance, that indeed, she wouldn't lose someone she cared about again; that Columbina was safe and sound by her side.
OR: Both Sandrone and Columbina are very clingy, one is just more shy about it.

"Jahoda," Nefer says, eyes drifting back to her employee. That familiar curl of warmth in her stomach flares up at the way Jahoda jumps a little, eyes immediately snapping up to look at her boss. Attentive to a fault. "I'm cold," Nefer continues simply, and at first Jahoda merely blinks at her in stupor, before she schools it back and stands to walk over to her boss.
"Ah, d'you want me to get you a blanket from your bedroom? Or bring the heater closer?" Jahoda offers, just as sweet and innocent as she is obedient.
Nefer hums in fake contemplation, her eyes dragging over Jahoda's body, from the shiny boots up to the deep green scarf and all the way to the pink blush that is beginning to creep across her cheeks and ears. "No," she speaks at last, and Jahoda shifts nervously on her feet. "I'm sure you can find another way to warm me up here." Her voice is a drawl now, quiet and slow.

“Change can be difficult,” Nefer offers simply, but not dismissively.
Lauma huffs, smiling in a way that doesn’t quite reach her eyes. “I honestly find it more complicated than difficult.”
She doesn’t regret it, of course. The Frostmoon Scions deserved to know the truth, and she can see that, despite the challenges, her people have proven themselves resilient, and malleable. Adaptable. Many have left, but many others have stayed too, and they’re building something new and something better now because of that difficult truth. She wouldn’t change anything, if she were given the chance to do things over.
But it’s—complicated. More so, lately.
