The soft pink of Arwen's mouth marred by his blood was a sight altogether new to him, and it was making his heartbeat thrum like a hunted animal's. All he had to do, Aragorn told himself, was make it through dinner, then they could give their excuses and vanish into her bedchambers and... well.
