A whale and a bear guide a resurrected Spock back to his emotional place in the world. This story is set during and after the fourth Star Trek Original Series Movie "The Voyage Home", which is the one with the whales and the time travel, and deals with Spock healing from his resurrection amnesia. Will he ever remember what Jim means to him? (Includes a scene in a 20th century San Francisco gay bar, because there they are, right there in San Francisco--it was too obvious to pass up!)

I love Posa's death scene because of the raw emotion and love shared between Carlos and Posa, but... it kind of ends with Posa, well, DEAD. So I came up with this AU to solve that--halfway through the death scene, I sent in the femme fatale to save the day.

There was silence on the other end of the line. It lasted so long that Steve pulled the receiver away from his ear and frowned at it. Pay phones were old. Maybe this one wasn’t working despite the obvious dial tone when he picked up.
“Ok,” a stranger’s voice said over the phone. “First acknowledge the fact that you dialed the wrong number, but be quick about it because my cab is a few blocks away from my own plans and I’m about to drop some truth bombs on you.”
