Thunderstorms were a good time to take Moony out into the forest. The noise covered most of his howling, the rain kept him slow and careful, and most of the more dangerous creatures would be settled in for the night. This one had been textbook, with the night tilting back over towards the day with no issue. Then they looked back at the werewolf, noting his raised ears and slowly sniffing nose.
Good, a rabbit'll make him easier to get back into the shack.(Snape has been in his own head since The Prank, and decides to test out 'how easily' the Marauders would've become Animagi. He's not the MOST pleased with his new form. A form that garners as many predators as Severus does in his every day life / The Marauders feel guilty about The Prank. His eye twitches as he looks back across the room, back at the source of his irritation. Across the Mean Bean stands Wade, his partner, *his*, behind the counter, ever-so-politely talking to a customer. A customer who has been there for five minutes and forty-two seconds too long, and is very obviously flirting with the man. And Wade knows it too, he's not quite as dense as everyone might be led to think.
OR

The pain engulfs him like a raging fire, every nerve ending ablaze as he screams in pain; well, attempts to scream. What comes out is more of a gurgle, the hot taste of iron already filling his mouth. He slumps forward, one trembling arm supporting his weight as the other curls around the wound in his torso, blood already pouring onto the concrete. He raises his head to watch the witch, wanting to at least force her to look him in the eyes as she finishes him off.
But she’d already turned her attention to Ivo, her arm raised to strike again. With a strangled cry and one last rush of adrenaline, Aban drags himself forward, covering Ivo’s body with his own. “Don’t – Don’t touch him.” It’s meant to sound intimidating, but his mouth is filled with blood and his vision is already darkening at the edges, so it comes out as barely a strained whisper.
The last thing he sees before his eyes roll back in his head is the blurry outline of a white lab coat.
or: Stobotnik Soul Eater AU! Robotnik is a meister, and stone is the weapon he wields. After a fight with a witch goes south, Aban is laid up in the infirmary while Ivo grapples with guilt.
