Summary

Protect his home and his family from a leech-like group of galaxy interlopers. All that he's ever been taught tells him humans aren't worth his time, or his pity.

Summary
Red thought she could do this. After all, humans are renowned for their weird and violent ways. They were the boogeymen of the universe, used as bedtime stories to keep younglings from running off without their packs, or parents. One assassination mission should be easy.
But then she learns their customs, integrates herself among them in order to be more effective. And doubt begins to set in.

"You've got something there," Green motions to Black's chest, which has a splat of dark liquid across it.
"It's… oil. From the, you know. The rear axial. Distributor." He waves at a panel on the wall, a panel which Green thought was an extra trash chute, but evidently not.
"Thanks," Green says, and means it. "Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one who actually cares about getting us all out of here alive, you know?"
