Summary
Nathaniel Wesninski has only known the tower he was raised in and a grand total of five people: his father, and his father's friends. After his father refuses to take him to see the floating lights that light up every year on his birthday, he recruits the help of a morally dubious blond home intruder named Andrew. Along the way he meets a ragtag gang named The Foxes, makes several escapes from not-so-well-meaning strangers, and finds himself entranced with the grumpy blond man acting as his guide.
But with his father close on his heels and magic burning through his veins, he should have known his journey wouldn't remain so simple. -

Constantly fighting, constantly touching… What happens when they get a little too close.

The way Sasuke fights is graceful, thought out, and efficient. Naruto is his stark opposite – brash, powerful and loud. When they collide, it's like two opposite pieces finally falling together, becoming whole.

Summary
Neil Josten had become much more open with the Foxes after the events of his second kidnapping.
That wasn't to say he was an open book, not even close. Most of the Foxes could count what Neil had said about himself with their fingers, and, unless it was Andrew (or Kevin - but chances are that came from their history together more than any actual sharing from Neil) they wouldn't even make it onto the second hand. And when Neil did mention something about himself, it was never anything big. He liked cookies, the colour orange was growing on him, and he could do a perfect British accent because his mother had been from England.
Or:
A series of moments where the Foxes look at Neil and can go "Oh yeah, that Kid was Definitely Raised by A Serial Killer."
