Slowly, the screams, the various chats going on, all faded into the background, only the music remained, gently washing over them. Sukuna blinked slowly, like a content cat, and reached his hand over to take Megumi’s, which Megumi gladly allowed with a chuckle.
They stayed that way for the whole ride, the world beyond completely forgotten. Lost in each other’s eyes.
Just two children who wanted nothing more than to enjoy life the way they wanted, in peace.
Just the two of them.
